About

I'm a producer and composer from the island of La Palma, in the Canary Islands. I've been composing and producing for as long as I can remember — I started making beats for my own tracks, later for local artists, and slowly developed a real passion for understanding and creating new music. I took piano, guitar and bass lessons as a child, and later trained academically as well. My roots are in the underground: I learned to build my first rhythms by imitating international trap producers, but as I gained knowledge and technique I started shaping a sound of my own.

What defines me is the way I combine two worlds that, on paper, shouldn't work together. On one side, pure production — beatmaking, speed, clear sound design, a professional sonority, mixing. On the other, classical references: a theoretical understanding of music and traditional composition techniques fused with contemporary production. Growing up, while I was learning to compose, I also developed a love for the visual side and taught myself to make music videos — sound and music in service of the image — long before I knew that could even be a job.

I'm not drawn to what sounds common. I'm drawn to what hits you on the first listen, before you even decide whether you like it. I gravitate toward a distinctive, enigmatic, dreamlike and often dark sound: analog distortion, ambiguous harmonies, the blurring of tonality and modality, the absence of harmony, ritualistic atmospheres, traditional elements. At the opposite end of the spectrum I work in a minimalist, delicate, intimate register. I'm drawn to spirituality, mystery and the divine, as well as to darker aesthetics — folk horror and the horror of the '70s and '80s — and I think all of that finds its way into my music too. I'm not trying to be the best — I'm trying to be different, with a sound that's unmistakably mine. What I love most is conveying emotion through impossible stories, in impossible worlds, with impossible characters — because in the end those atmospheres only ever reflect very human problems and feelings.
